How to Beat Stress: Confessions of an Online Hypnotist

How to Beat Stress: Confessions of an Online Hypnotist

By Andrew Z Soler CH

Let’s be real—stress is like that clingy ex who just won’t leave you alone. You wake up? It’s there. You check your phone? More stress. You try to sleep? Nope, stress has other plans. But what if I told you that your mind has a secret "off switch" for all that anxiety? That’s where I come in.

I’m a hypnotist. No, I won’t make you cluck like a chicken (unless that’s your thing). I help people escape the mental chaos that keeps them up at night—without needing a yoga mat or a retreat in Bali. And trust me, I’ve seen it all.

The Banker Who Couldn’t Breathe

A client once came to me—a high-flying banker who was drowning in deadlines. He’d wake up gasping for air, convinced he was having a heart attack. Doctors said it was just stress, but that didn’t make it any easier. In one session, I guided him into a deep, trance-like state, rewiring his mind to let go of the pressure. Weeks later, he messaged me: "I sleep like a baby now, and my boss thinks I’m a Zen master."

The Bridezilla Who Found Her Chill

Then there was the bride-to-be who was losing it over wedding details. Her flowers? Not pink enough. The cake? Too round. After one hypnosis session, she stopped obsessing over tiny details and started enjoying the process. Moral of the story? Sometimes, your brain just needs a hard reset.

Your Stress-Busting Hack

So, how can you beat stress without booking a session (though, let’s be honest, you should)? Try this:

  1. Breathe Like You Mean It – Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 7, exhale for 8. Do it 5 times. Feel the difference.
  2. Talk to Your Subconscious – Before bed, whisper to yourself: "Tomorrow, I wake up calm and in control." Your brain listens.
  3. Close Your Eyes, Picture a Beach – Add sounds, smells, warmth. Your mind will believe you’re there.

If you’ve tried everything—wine, meditation apps, screaming into a pillow—but stress still owns you, maybe it’s time to tap into your subconscious. Because sometimes, the fastest way to relax is to stop thinking so hard.

Need a mental reset? I’m just a session away.

Stuck to the Chair/Floor – Tell them they’re "glued" to their seat and can’t stand up. Energy, Tao, and the Art of Peaceful Living in a Busy World

🌀 Energy, Tao, and the Art of Peaceful Living in a Busy World By Andrew In the quiet moments between the chaos, we can still hear the Tao. Our modern lives move fast. Emails ping. Traffic hums. Notifications buzz like persistent insects. Amid this noisy whirlwind, many of us yearn for something deeper: peace, energy, alignment. Something ancient that still speaks softly beneath the modern noise. This is where Tao—the Way—gently enters. Tao and Effortless Flow Taoism teaches that we don’t need to wrestle with life. Instead, we can learn to flow with it. The Tao is not something to chase. It's like a river: always moving, always there, and always inviting us to move with it—not against it. When we begin to live in harmony with this natural flow, we stop burning unnecessary energy resisting what is . Our energy, once wasted on control, becomes available for presence, clarity, creativity, and healing. The Breath as a Bridge Enter the “2 in, 2 out” breath. Simple. Grounding. ...

Dancing with the Tao: A Thought from the Wind

Dancing with the Tao: A Thought from the Wind by Andrew Z. Soler The other day, I scribbled something. It wasn’t planned, it just… happened. A few lines about Wu Wei , bamboo in the wind, the Tao, and the idea that maybe—just maybe—I’m someone else’s imagination. It got me thinking. Maybe that’s how all truth arrives: not through force, but like wind brushing through leaves. That’s Wu Wei —not doing nothing, but doing nothing unnatural . Letting life move through you, like music through a flute. Some will say this is laziness. But to me, it's alert stillness. It’s choosing not to swim against the river, but to trust its current, knowing it’s all part of something deeper. I don’t always understand it. Sometimes I feel like a ghost in someone else’s dream. Or a projection of a thought the universe had once, and then let go. But in that space of not-knowing, there’s peace. A quiet truth that doesn’t need to be proven or posted. It just is . Like the Tao. So I write. Not to expl...
